"Do not grow weary of doing good..."

Why would he say that? -Because doing good involves... well, doing. And doing involves... well, weariness. And selflessness. And work. And time. And trouble. And risk.

BTW, it's easier not to. It's easier to focus on self. It's easier to look the other way. In fact, It's easier to not "do" at all.

It's easier to make excuses.

If I start "doing" -it may never stop. -it may never be enough. -it may not be appreciated. -it may cause my motives to be questioned. -it may alienate friends who live in the comfort zone of not doing.

Yes, it may. In fact, yes it will.

Yet I will affirm what doers know: it's the ONLY way to live. -The only way to become alive. -The only way to find your God-purpose and claim each day for Him.

If you pray for purpose and opportunities, He will answer that prayer. Be warned: you will face weariness. Yet in Him, you will find the life-strength to change others. And... somewhere along the journey of doing , you will learn that the one changed most of all is... YOU.
